Crewe AlexanDER... some people really need to check their work!

These appeared on ebay today..... now I'm all for a bit of enterprise and making products to sell online but try to check your work before you try to sell it... especially if the correct spelling is actually right next to it on the club logo...

Wolves v Crewe 2005-06 Season

This badge was produced for Crewe's game at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 2005-06 season. No idea who produced it or why (assume it was Wolves fans) but I bought it from here http://www.badges.esmartdesign.com/Crewe.htm . Never seen them on ebay either and there is an alternate version where the gold background is replaced with a black background that I have not been able to get hold of yet. I have not heard of a pin being produced from the return fixture at gresty road so it might have been a short-lived project.

Official Shield and Ball Badge

This one was bought from the club shop a couple years back and is probably a generic style that is used by many clubs. The ball and stars bit is a little tacky and I'm not exactly sure what the stars are supposed to represent...

Supporters Association Pin

Old badge (60s/70s?) made by PC Parry with another variant of the Supporters Association logos. The crest is slightly raised from the silver background giving the badge a nice look. This is officially listed as Crewe badge 020 in the AFBC directory.

Crewe Golly

These football golly pins are unofficial variants of the popular Robinsons Golly Pins which have been produced since the 1930s. These football gollys started appearing in the 90s with pretty much every league club and national team having a version out there. The Crewe version is a nice addition to the collection.

Old logo round white

This one is the exact opposite of the white with red trim badge posted earlier. Its old but pretty easy to obtain. A nice little badge. This is officially listed as Crewe badge 002 in the AFBC directory.
